The service of using SKY cable.

 I still remember that was someday in July, last year.I was removed my living place from one to another which is now, the current place. I can not survive without internet because it is the most important way to communicate with my family and friends in China. Of course I am a Chinese.Although I have known and understood that the speed of internet in the PH is how slowly at all. But really I have experienced somehow not bad days of service from the PLDT company.  Actually I think compare sky to PLDT,that what is my experience.

  I have been requesting for a plan upgrade for more than one month once. I have spent 20 minutes every week day for the past month being on hold on their helpline, but the generic answer from the BPO call center dudes are always the same : "On process of your request, because we are waiting for a Service Order Number to be generated by the system." This has been the reply since May 2 2013.
I never realized how hard it would be to upgrade. To think, I actually want to throw away more money in PLDT's direction, but they seem in no hurry to make more business? Their problem seems to be they make too much money already.

The reason I want an upgrade is because my "Plan XPERIENCE " per month generates only a max of 50 kbps at my former unit. A far cry from the 1 Mbps advertised. You can forget about streaming, and forget YouTube. I have complained about this short-changing and customer gouging before, but of course to no avail.

Rather than fight the system, I decided to just go for an upgrade to "Plan XCITE But even that request seems too much for them to execute.

As of my latest 30-minute wait and twenty-second conversation with their clueless call center rep today, "Pasensya na po, it seems hindi po agad naasikaso when you first requested, so nung May 22 lang naipasok sa system. Pero ipapa-process na po natin yan."

If I have to hear the infernal word "process" one more time when I follow up 5-7 work days from now, I think I will just move to Sky.



PLDT really sucks. After I moved into the current place I have to change a totally unfamiliar brand that is SKY cable.The only reason is this building which I am staying, does not support the PLDT internet. I have tried to contact the liasons of SKY company but they did not show up within two weeks, it was a bad bad first impression. Finally when they come to my unit and after installed the internet with wireless router, I found out that was a so easy processes, it only cost them less than 10 minuets, but why I have waited for a several days.The only good thing is SKY's internet is  as well as PLDT's . The speed as they promised and steady in the most of the time but its only in the most of the time.
  Ah ha! Sometimes, there is always sometimes.
  So sometimes, the things that I really do not want to see is, compare to my friend's internet which is also sky broad band, we received different experiences of services, I dont know why and what happened. His intenet was steady all the time, but mine just got into confused sometimes, I can not use some softwares on my cellphone via the intenet and the pictures can not be explored sometimes. It seems like very ridiculous and makes me angry. Afte suffering several days of its up and down performance, I decided to make a call to their service hotline. Although I had tried three times to call the hotline but still, there is no one answered. So I sent a message to the liason which I saw his number on the advertisement posters. Luckly I received his reply and I complained what I experienced. He promised me to fix it in two days, but he did not. Then he texted me that he sent an e-mail to the customer service department and they will response as soon as possible, but the truth is ,still unlike what he said and promised. You know what, I am already used to feeling their behaviors like that and I did not feel too surprise, just uncomfortable. They always disappointed you and it became thei habbits. Imagine , I have to pay 2000 pesos every month and the company did not make their proposal to the customers.
  I think that were 5 months past already,one day I awared that there seems like is no problems anymore with the fluctuation of the internet. I hope the problems will not occur anymore.
  Hope I could enjoy the service from the company after all I paid almost 2000 pesos every month. Its such a high charges ,low benefits for me. But anyway, that will be okay as long as I got the satisfaction from it.
